Conference on Real Estate IncomeTrusts (REITs)
Real estate trusts are the sole survivors of the new income trust rules announced on October 31, 2006.
Real Estate and taxation will be the subject of the Associatin de planification fiscale et successorale' s Conference to take place on March 22, 2007, at the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel. Guest speaker, Me Claude Désy, FCA, will discuss the particular characteristics of real estate trusts, examine recent transactions involving real estate trusts and discuss possible reorganizations with these types of entities.
