2006/05/23 Fredric L. Carsley receives the 2006 Trustees Distinguished Service Award from CISC

Carsley has received the 2006 Trustees Distinguished Service Award from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) at its annual spring convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. This award, the highest honour bestowed by the retail real estate industry, was given in recognition of Mr. Carsley’s tireless and selfless contributions over the years to the success of the worldwide retail real estate industry.
Fred Carsley, a partner at De Grandpré Chait, practises exclusively commercial real estate law with particular emphasis on major retail and office projects. He specializes in the acquisition, development, financing and leasing of commercial real estate, representing well-known majors in the industry. Mr. Carsley has just completed his term as Government Relations Chair for ICSC’s Canadian Division, heading the Canadian shopping centre industry government relations representation team. Mr. Carsley is a frequent speaker and writer on commercial real estate issues, both in Canada and the United States.
