De Grandpré Chait Obtains a Mandate from Dessau-Soprin in Algeria

Me François Beauchamp has obtained the mandate to represent Dessau-Soprin and Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF) in one of the largest construction projects in Algeria. The project, evaluated at several billions of dollars, consists in the construction of a 1216 km highway crossing Algeria from east to west, providing a link between five North African countries over a distance of 7000 km.

Me Guy Gilain is responsible for negotiating and drafting the construction contracts for Dessau-Soprin and Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF) on behalf of the Agence nationale des autoroutes (ANA), the delegatee of Algeria's Ministère des travaux publics. The construction work, which is expected to extend over a period of 50 months, was awarded to a consortium of Japanese firms (grouped under COJAAL) and Chinese firms (grouped under CECC-CITIC).

Dessau-Soprin, together with Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF), a European concession-holder forming part of the VINCI group, will supply a team of managers, engineers and technical experts, in order to support Algeria's Agence nationale des autoroutes (ANA) in carrying out the construction project.
