Recruitment Process
The lawyers in our Firm who are responsible for recruiting begin the process by reviewing all applications received from potential candidates by the announced deadline. The review takes into consideration the candidate's academic standing, work experience, social and other activities.
Applications should be accompanied by a resumé and a copy of all available university transcripts.
After a preliminary selection, we hold interviews to better acquaint ourselves with the candidates. As needed, a second interview is held to give candidates a more extensive chance to demonstrate their judgment and reasoning skills.
Our Firm usually recruits from four to six articling students each year. Some have the opportunity of beginning to work with us during the summer following your third year of undergraduate law school.
We try to show our articling students the many facets of a law practice by assigning you to our different practice groups. We feel this approach maximizes your employability after the internship.
